Where Our Milk Comes From 

It starts with the farm, not a factory.  Real farms, real cows and real people who care about how food is produced. 

At the heart of everything we do is our own farm in Ayrshire.  This is where we develop and prove a different way to dairy 

  • Pasture-based, organic farming 

  • Calves raised with their mothers 

  • A focus on soil health, biodiversity, and long-term sustainability 

It’s not the easiest way to farm, but it’s our way.

A system change

We’ve never believed that one farm can change the system on its own, so we work with a small number of like-minded farms who share our standards and values. 

Farms that: 

  • prioritise animal welfare over output 

  • farm in harmony with nature 

  • believe milk should be real food, not a commodity 

These are not anonymous suppliers; they are: 

  • Wester Manbeen Farm 

  • Milton of Connage Farm  

  • Auchlea Farm 

All independent, organic family farms… and every drop of milk we use can be traced back to them. 

Most milk in the UK is pooled together, traded nationally and internationally and processed as cheaply as possible. 

Farmers are paid as little as possible, quality is standardised and the connection between farm and consumer is lost. 

We’ve chosen a different path. 

Instead of fitting into that system, we’ve built our own: 

  • Direct relationships with farms 

  • Fair pricing that supports their future 

  • Short supply chains, from farm to bottle 

Because if farmers don’t survive, neither does real food. 

Full Transparency

We believe you should know exactly where your milk comes from. 

That’s why: 

  • We work with a small, trusted group of farms 

  • We keep supply local wherever possible 

  • We prioritise traceability over scale 

No blending from hundreds of unknown sources and no shortcuts. 

Just honest milk, from farms that stand for something. 

Why This Matters

This isn’t just about sourcing milk, it’s about rebuilding a food system that supports small farms, produces better quality food and works with nature instead of against it 

Because once you lose the farm, you lose everything that comes with it – food, community, passions and dreams.
